Amy was born and raised in Texas. As an adult she has lived in various parts of the U.S. as a military spouse and understands the challenges for military families. Her family has called West Texas home for the past 15 years. She fell in love with the vast ranches, pump jacks, and the drilling rig derricks illuminating the Texas nights. Amy's interests are music, motocross and homeless ministries. She loves to sing and can play various instruments including the piano, clarinet and saxophone. She is also currently learning how to play the guitar in the footsteps of her Uncle, the Legendary Blues Musician, Smokin' Joe Kubek.
Her family has also been involved in the motocross racing industry for 12 years. Her son, Caden, races in the Pro Class and her husband races in the vet classes.
