Working with Max was a frustrating experience from start to finish. As a first-time home seller, and someone who works in the mortgage industry, I made it clear upfront that I wanted to be kept in the loop throughout the process. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. My wife and I constantly had to follow up just to get basic updates. Max was not proactive in his communication, which left us feeling uninformed and unsupported.Early in the transaction, we were disappointed by the lack of negotiation effort on the initial offer. It felt as though there was no real push to advocate for us as the sellers. Later, when the closing date was renegotiated and moved up by 11 days, neither Max nor the buyer’s agent notified key parties like the title company or lender; a critical oversight.Things took a turn for the worse a week before closing when the buyer’s agent began frantically messaging everyone involved, including over 20 emails per week to the title company and even reaching out to me directly. This behavior felt highly unprofessional. What was most upsetting was when the buyer’s agent texted both Max and me in a group message, saying, “this is all your fault Tyler.” Despite this completely inappropriate accusation, Max refused to step in or defend me, his own client. That lack of support and accountability was unacceptable.Overall, I was extremely disappointed. The entire experience was marred by poor communication, lack of professionalism, and a failure to advocate for their client. I would not recommend working with Max (or the buyer’s agent) to anyone.

Max has far exceeded the expectations that I expected. Max is knowledgeable not only in regards to the local real estate market, but on much broader financial and market behaviors.
As an investor I of course look for a return on investment, and Max's knowledge and expertise has been an excellent tool for me while buying in the San Angelo Area.
